Hey Photoshop fans! Adobe is bringing Photoshop & You to San Francisco. I attended the pre-opening Gala and Adobe has produced a fantastic environment that will inspire, help boost your skills and give you new insight on the possibilities for your photography. The store includes a theater, training books and videos area, and digital imaging area where you can make cool customized gifts. The training schedule has a full line-up of Photoshop royalty including Scott Kelby, Robert Seale, Cory Rich and the always entertaining Russell Brown.

Also on display is digital Artist Bert Monroy’s Times Square. This is a rare opportunity to see the 20 ft x 5 ft digital rendition of Times Square. The image is populated with portraits of a who’s who in the world of Phtoshop. (PS. I am in it!!) This artwork has been touring the country and is on it’s way to Las Vegas after this showing. So take the time to see a truly incredible work of art. Hand drawn by the digital hyper-realist master himself.

Photoshop World Las Vegas September 7-9, 2011

Photoshop World is my favorite show of the year. Not only is this the best Photoshop conference, it is truly a one of a kind event. Scott Kelby and the folks at KelbyMedia put on an absolute thrilling and mind filling conferencet. When you leave PSW you will be dying to get home and start putting all the great things you learned to use in your own work. The show is also incredibly entertaining, from the always spectacular Opening keynote to Midnight Madness you have to come experience it for yourself.

The speaker line up is a who’s who of talent including my friends: Scott Kelby, Bert Monroy, Ben Wilmore, Rich Harrington, Lesa Snider, Matt Kloskowski, Dave Cross, Russell Brown, Deke McClelland, and David Ziser.

You can register here.

Make sure you stop by the Peachpit/KelbyMedia Bookstore and say hello to me.

Google Operating System Blog: Unofficial news and tips about Google

I found while searching for info on using a YouTube for my iTunes feed. I was wanting to re-boost Gary-Paul TV for this site. I long ago set-up Gary-Paul TV using the Internet Archive. It was a bit clucky and has outlived its use for my purposes. On the other hand I don’t want to try to put all my videos on every video site on the planet- the hassle of managing all the files and doing all the uploads Ugh!. “Give me one Pipe to feed them all” is my motto.

Anyway I think you mightt find this useful if you want to utilize your YouTube feeds to the fullest extent. Please note: the author(s) is not affiliated with Google.
